| Kennels (to share or not to share) I am getting my new little babies in 10 days and am wondering if I should have them share a Kennel or if they should each have their own. Any input? |

| It will deifinatly make it easier if they are use to sleeping together less whining(sp)

| Welcome to YT!!!!! We love furbabies!!! & pictures too!!!! Are they together now? If they are, and the same age, I would think it would be OK. Just make sure there's enough room to sleep & play.

| It's definately OK to let them sleep and stay together in one kennel if they are already used to it. Granted though, Having two is never a bad idea. It's OK for them to have alone time by themselves for a little bit each day. Kind of like naptime when we were little. It also helps if one ever has to stay somewhere, be it the vet or whatnot, it will help if the other one is already kinda of used to spending time by themself.

| Get an xpen they are great. They are roomy enough for two plus your peepad and a big dog bed. I had one for my two and it worked out great. Mine was made by Precision and I got it at Pets supply plus but someone else on here had the same one and she said she got it at Petsmart.

| My girls sleep in an ex-pen together, but when we travel or go anywhere they share a kennel. They are so used to sleeping curled up together, that they would not have it any other way. Deb is ok when Maya is not around, but Maya cries if she is ever in the pen without Deb. She hates to be alone.

| I think it really depends on the dog. If they are used to laying together then they should do well and perhaps you would get less whining with them together. Our Paris REFUSES to let anyone in her cage. If there is anyone in there she will cry all night long. She doesnt like it if they touch her while she wants to sleep! LOL She even gets upset if they touch her when she is sleeping on the couch.

| When I got my first two, Zowie and Bronx, they were about 13 and 10 weeks old. They always slept together from the day we brought them home. We had a wire cage (like an x-pen) we got at Tractor Supply, it folds to 2' x 2' x 4", expands to 4' x4'. We put their cage w/ bed, pee pee pad, food and water, and toys in there. I don't ever remember them crying at all. They loved each other until Zowie was pregnant; now they love each other again (but Bronx is fixed now

| I think that if you have the room I would get them each their own crates and put them in the begger xpen. Then I would make sure that the doors stayed open so they could either sleep together or alone, whichever they prefer. |

| My pups have two x-pens, two crates and about 10 beds. They usually all sleep together or at least in groups. One x-pen is now put away and was a waste of space and money IMO. They don't spend much time in their cage or crate at all anymore, I leave them open so they can come and go, and seldom close them in even at night. Zoe and Bronx were locked in at night for about their first year. Now everyone sleeps wherever they want - usually on the couch or in the kids rooms. The pups are only 8 months, but they probably were caged at night for about 4 months.
