| Well my babies go to a vet in an expensive area in Park Slope, NY: Spay/Nueter depends on weight based on the amount anastecia (sp? I know I butcherd that word, lol) used. If they are about 5lbs, which they should be at the time: Boy $140 Girl $190 Disovable stiches for both. WONDERFUL!! $15/tooth if needed extraction $15/pup for microchipping It might be spendy to some but I really love our VET and we have pet insurance as well! :-)

| hmm, i'm not sure, but here I think spaying runs about 80-100 dollars. But in New York, I think it is probably more! Who knows, It shouldn't be too much though! Just make sure that the vet has experience in anestetics with yorkies!!

| I'm glad I caught this thread because I'm gonna have to start planning this for Oakley. For those of you who got teeth pulled, is that something you knew you had to get done w/ ur babies by examining their mouths yourself, or did the vet check and then recommend it? |

| Neuter We paid a little over $600 for everything. Pre-op blood work 70$, Matise had bilateral cryptorchid testicals so that was a 400$ surgery. He had 6 residial baby teeth pulled $60 and had to stay one day in the hospital-so add in pain meds $70 and all it came to $600.

| 400 $ for spaying 1 dog, but then again, Denmark is very expensive in almost every way. In comparison a full time well educated job pays 3-4000 $ pr. month as start wages...

| Wow, there are huge variations in costs! We paid $190 Canadian and that's all they did. It did include the follow up to have the stitches removed. We droppped her off in the morning and picked her up in the early evening. |
