How Much Did You Guys Pay To Have Your Dog Spayed/neutered? I am about to get Coco spayed and wanted to know what the average price range is. I called her vet today to ask and they said they would call me back later with an estimate. I just want to know what I may spending. Also she is about to go into heat any day now. Should I wait until this heat is over to have it done or if by the time I schedule the appointment she hasn't gone into heat then just do it?

$275 Includes all pre-op bloodwork, overnight stay and microchip Edited to say: for a female. A male neuter would've been slightly cheaper.

I paid $700 for spayed and teeth cleaning and when she came home she did not even have a bandage or a mark on her. I still can't figure that out, but it was quite remarkable and she was like a puppy again. So happy and healthy

I did some research and contacted a local organization that gives out vouchers to have you pet spayed/nutered for free from certin vets, mine just happened to be on the list. Check with you vet, they may know about the program. My vet went ahead and pulled her baby teeth at no charge when I brought her in to be spayed.... I love Gracie's vet!

| Wow, I must be living in an expensive area... I paid $350 for spay and teeth pulling. And it wasn't anything 'fancy'.
