| Almost a year so an update is in order. The boys are best friends and it is a beautiful thing to see! I'm so glad I decided to get another little Yorkie boy! I would post a pic but it's a lot of hassle to do so here .......but Nelson is the cutest ever and ended up a whopping 5lbs 5oz. I hope everyone and their fur babies are well! |

| So wonderful to hear from you and happy to hear the boys are best buds. It does take time for dogs to adjust to each other and puppies are soooo frisky. Don't be a stranger now

Once I realized that Teddy (the eldest) was initially upset about being jumped on, I had to figure out why Nelson (the puppy) was jumping on Teddy in the first place. It seemed that this was Nelsons way of initiating play and/or greeting, so once I understood that, I chastised Nelson when he greeted Teddy by jumping on him and gave him treat rewards for greeting him in other ways e.g. spinning with his tail up, licking Teddys face etc. This very quickly, within a matter of days, resolved the issue so that Teddy wasn't scared to interact with Nelson because he knew his head wouldn't be pounced lol Nelson is a very happy, spirited dog so we still sometimes have to step in when he's over excited but he and Teddy are very close now. They run to each other when they get in trouble, hear strange noises, are in unfamiliar situations and greet each other with sniffs in the morning! Hope this helps and happy to answer any other questions! Thanks for asking and hope you and yours are well! | |

| Puppies are wild, frisky lil critters that like to play hard. They need to be trained what is acceptable and what is not. You did a good job, now Teddy has a BFF. Enjoy their lil antics, they can be very entertaining.
