| I’ve been buying Nutro for Dexter. I’m glad it’s on the list as a good food

I never use the Dog Food Advisor in picking a new food. He is a human dentist and is not someone I trust to evaluate food. I also don't buy into the "read the ingredients" lingo as none of us are qualified to do that. It is always good to keep eyes and ears open. I had two pups affected by dog food this past year.....a nd from a company I trust. Any company can have a recall.

| As I said, a human dentist. Not someone I would consult with regarding what to feed my dogs. Here is the resume of one person I look to for dog food information: There are others...but she has an awesome website that is full of information about dog food. 1 | P a g e Updated: 4/23/20 REBECCA L. | The recall emails are the only thing that website is good for. They have many foods that have significant lawsuits against them. He also is a human dentist not a vet nutritionist. Blue Buffalo is rated high and they have many many lawsuits against them for lying about their food, they have a history of terrible quality control as well as customer service and there are soooooooo many complaints about GI issues. Then there is Acana which is rated high yet it was the original food to start the heart issue research and findings so I would never follow his website because it’s just not trustworthy. He even puts down prescription dog food which saves many dogs lives but because of people like him they refuse to put their dog on the prescription food and their dog ends up suffering. He isn’t qualified and he makes money when you use his links. I would rather use a vet nutritionist if I need help with food. My vet even though not a specialist in nutrition knows more then that guy. That site is dangerous in my opinion.

| I think it’s terrible but not necessarily because of the list but they add colors and stuff. My god mothers dog was eating it and had very high liver numbers and came off of it and after a couple of months her numbers went down. I also have heard of them being linked to serious issues in dogs.

I don't know anything about Beneful. If you go to www.petdiets.com and click on "ask the nutritionist" you can search for topics and also ask them basic questions. I don't think they will tell you what to feed or not feed; but , they will give you tips on how to choose a food that is best for your pup.
