Food companies change so much. Nutro went through a period of time where they did have recalls. I only know that because I used their food for a short time. They may have changed since that time; but it would be worth looking into.
I never use the Dog Food Advisor in picking a new food. He is a human dentist and is not someone I trust to evaluate food. I also don't buy into the "read the ingredients" lingo as none of us are qualified to do that.
It is always good to keep eyes and ears open. I had two pups affected by dog food this past year.....a nd from a company I trust. Any company can have a recall.
