| Why does she vomit in the car? I'm trying to figure out why she vomits in the car. She vomits even if I hold her. Any suggestions please.... |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Some dogs are just sensitive to riding in the car. Like humans, maybe she just gets car sick. |

| Some dogs are very sensitive to the sensation of the car, and it could just be that she associates getting in the car with going to bad places such as the vet. I would highly suggest a car seat. And when you strap her in it, give her a bit of chicken and tell her how great she's doing. Most dogs grow out of it and I've had many customers say the carseat helped soo much. Also, take her on short trips like to the post office or the bank and give her a treat when you get there and a treat when you get home.

| Oh the fun car trips to the groomer, vet, and park. Rocky is 2 years and he still gets car sick. He has always gotten car sick, so I just remove food from him 3 hours before he gets in the car. Even then he still will dry heeve. Daisy is 7 months and has never gotten car sick once. Each react different but you just need to be prepared if it happens. I always have a roll of paper towels and wet wipes in the car. |

| Both my yorkies got car sick up until a month ago. They are 1 1/2 yrs old . I knoticed they were sick less when in the front seat looking out the window with plenty of air. I started taking them with me on a short trip everyday when i bring and pick up my kids from school. They both finally grew out of it. I also knoticed there are so much people at the school that i think they forget they are feeling sick due to all the excitment around them. |

| Best bet is car sickness. Tigger had that when his breeder gave him to us, but we haven't had any problems since.

| Do what I do. Either don't feed them right before going, or feed them and wait longer to go. S
