| Constipated Yorkie My two 1/2 month old Yorkie is constipated. I am certain of it. I want to train her; but she is suffering so much. I did give her some puppy amoxillian because of kennel cough she got from the store I bought her from. Does anyone know what to do? |

| Oh poor baby! Welcome to YT! Sorry you couldn't have found us for a happier reason, but we are glad to have you! There are quite a few things you can do to help with constipation. First of all, make sure you speak with your vet. You can also try feeding a bit of raw carrot, or a teaspoon of canned pumpkin, or a tiny bit of mineral oil. Other folks take a washcloth with warm water or mineral oil and rub the pooper with it. Medications can cause constipation, and your vet may adjust as needed. Give them a call. What's your baby's name? When you get a chance, please post pictures! Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

| Thank you for responding! I am loving having a new baby! I was up so late last night taking care of her. I found out her hair and old poop was blocking her. I bathed her and she was fine. Her name is Francesca. |

| Thank you for welcoming me. This is so much fun. I will get pictures soon. I am realizing the hair varies in color. Mine is primarily black for the body and tan for the face. It looks silver at the root. They are all so cute! |
