| As long as you can afford their basic care and you have the space and the desire, why not. The thing about multiple dogs is sometimes its easier because they can play and entertain themselves when you work or have other things to do. |

| Fear if something goes wrong. My husband is a "water off a duck's back" kind of person. He tells me I worry and look for things to worry about constantly. He says you can't live your life worried about what MIGHT happen. God, I wish was like that. I totally agree with your husband insofar as "you can't live your life worried about what MIGHT happen"...I'm a very cautious person and I, too, prefer to be home. But you know what, if you need money for the pooches, you'll find it somehow, some way. You just will! Don't fret, relax, and prepare for four-times the joy and laughs and love!!! |

| Well, it has taken me awhile to be able to post. I am heartsick. We did not get the babies, and I am haunted with the memory of them now. There was something wrong with these two babies, and if we had no money worries, we would have gotten them anyway. They looked nothing like our Zeus and Perseus. The guy said he bred a Yorkie and Parti-Yorkie. We do not believe that to be the case. Their heads were round like an apple-head chihuahua. Their ears flopped and were very wide-set on their heads. They would not engage you at all, nor would they engage with Zeus and Perseus. We could tell immediately Perseus would not be happy -- he would not do anything but turn his head. That could have been due to the smell -- oh yee gods, the smell. I realize puppies are not going to smell great, but these babies were pitiful. They had green flies on their backs when they were handed to my husband. I looked in the man's car, and there were green flies in the car. One baby's tongue would not stay in his mouth -- it would stick out to the right side (all of his teeth were there). This one also had been "attacked" by another dog and was missing part of his nose. The other baby was missing all of the hair along the right side of his mouth, and the skin underneath looked strange. I can't say anymore as I'm currently tearing up at the thought of these precious babies. I worry about what kind of home and life they may have in their future. I'm so sad and can't get them out of my mind. |

| OMG how horrible for you, green flies, these poor babies are getting bitten up big time, these poor, poor babies. Just your description of these poor lil boys sickens me. He would be better off surrendering them to a rescue where they will be treated for what ever they have, obviously he is not getting medical attention for them. A horrible sight to see and not soon forgotten. I am so sorry, I know you had your heart set on these lil boys (((hugs)))

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We used to have 4, and sadly now only have 2 beloveds . I would have all 4 for the rest of our lives, if it were possible bc they are our babies and it's so heartbreaking to lose them. But I do think 4 is a lot to be responsible for and it can be tough logistically too. Having 4 is a big financial responsibility - and yorkies are prone to several very expensive health issues - so I would fully consider that fact. Health insurance is def an option - but again, for 4, it gets pricey each month. Logistically - *very* tough to travel with 4 - whether you try to take them along, or, get a hotel room, or, leave them at home with a sitter somehow. When we had just 2 for awhile, we traveled with them on a plane, in the car, to hotels etc -- but once we got 4, it was much more challenging.

There just are not words .... I hope we all give our little ones an extra hug and belly rub now, then light a candle or say a prayer that the pups you wrote about find love and care. --KatysMom | |

| As long as you are financially secure and you think they have the space to go wild, why not? Just make sure you don't over commit yourself, don't want the other dogs to lose out on attention from Mom and Dad! |
