| Question Does anyone here have four or more Yorkies? We have Zeus and Perseus, and the gentleman we got them from called my husband about a month ago. He has two boys left from a litter that he doesn't want separated for some reason. He asked if we would take them both. I realize the financial part. What I'm wondering is how much more trouble (or maybe not) are four versus two? Any advice is appreciated. |

| I think besides the financial part is the age of the person. I was in my early to mid 40's when I had 3 wild, zooming, crazy girls, adding a 4th at that time would not have been a problem, the older a person gets the less they can manage. Remember, these babies are with us 13 to 17 years, just food for thought.

| If you really want these puppies then I say go for it. Zeus and Perseus are young enough to adjust to puppies and join in wrestling matches lol, oh what fun there will be in your house lol. Please keep us posted.

| They'll definitely be loved! My part is the man we get them from not wanting them separated for whatever reason. That alone breaks my heart. They may be very bonded at this point, possibly? I don't know, but I would hate to separate these babies, and we've wanted one more. When his opportunity knocked, my husband said why not two more. I thought 3 was perfect. Oh, well, I'll guess we'll find out which of us is correct. The two we have are no trouble. If they can't go somewhere, we don't go; so, I guess it will be no different with four. Thanks for the help! |

| I have four. I’m not going to lie it’s huge financially like it’s $1300 just for a year for all four for heart worm and flea and tick meds. That’s not including yearly blood work and vaccines. Figuring out who threw up and did this or that. I’m not sure how terrible it would be if they all got an illness together or worms or something. Taking three to the vet was terrible I hope not to take all four at once. Traveling is hard. Don’t get me wrong I love love love them and they are my babies and there is soooooo much good but it’s hard. Mine are not tiny though so not sure if that makes a difference. Callie is 11 and 16 pounds, Joey is 2 and 11 pounds, Penny is 2 and 12 pounds and Ollie 8 months and 10 pounds. One thing I also noticed is most hotels and rental cabins only let 2 dogs in. In my mind 3 is much more manageable then 4.

| It's wonderful that your DH is all for it, it helps when hubby is on board, 4 hands are better then two. Since you were all ready thinking about getting another one, why not two. It would be horrible to break up a bonded pair. How old are these puppies that he still has them.

| LOL, that is funny lol. the breeder may not even have these boys if he told your DH a month ago. You can get health ins for the puppies in case you don't have it for your other two pups.
