| Jami, Mandi, Icy and Paige ate all therapy dogs. They each have found a place. Jami works at the library with children who love to read to them. Mandi just understood Alzheimer’s patients. Icy helped with PT in the Ortho department. Paige is a cancer spotter. All are registered with a local group. As was mentioned before, insurance is a very big reason for you to consider having your dog registered. A second reason is that ,at least in our area, only registered therapy dogs can go to schools, libraries, hospitals and most nursing homes. Sounds like you and your dog have ❤️. That’s what therapy work takes and registration with a group recognizes that fact , opens many doors and provides protection for you and the institution. |
