| I tried similar products when Callie was a puppy and I was never thrilled with them. She could never curl up and lay down with her head on the side to still look out in those.

In my situation I adopted my kid 4 years ago and found he got sick in the car. I know for myself I cannot sit in the back of a car, I get sick. You feel all the little bumps. Basing what made me sick I figured it would make a dog that was not just about raised in a car like my previous girls were, so I opted for a booster seat that was elevated off the seat. It was a good choice for my kid. Are you looking for the best safety, more stylish, quality, durability. Hopefully someone has used the Kurgo seat. I saw one on their site, elevated, from the pic I wouldn't buy it, there was to much forward sag to it. I have 2 vehicles, and bought one for each vehicle. What I also like about Tagalong Pet Booster Seat is it folds up and can be stored in a truck and takes up very little room.

| They are at Pet Supplies, I bought a larger size so my boy would have room to lay down, you may want to consider one size larger then what your baby is.

| She would try to do that but it wasn’t comfortable and would even hit against her trachea and make her cough. I’m not sure a smaller dog could do it either but that is just my experience with them. I do not re,her the brand either because it was 9 years ago maybe closer to 10 years.

| You know what? I kept looking and then looking again and I am not at all sure what that looks says. All I know is I'm glad that gaze isn't directed at me---and also, I think somebody (matese) could be in a little trouble! |

| I went on Kurgo web site yesterday and did a live chat. Asked about the skybox and heather seat. The skybox is sturdier than heather. Gidget weighs an almost 5 lbs so the skybox should be perfect for her. Am thinking about ordering it from Chewy. Great customer service and delivery from them. Always pleased with their customer service. Any comments? |

| I checked the kurgo heather and skybox. To bad the heather didn't have a video like the skybox did. I am giving my opinion based on my tagalong that I have 4 years now. If I were to buy a Kurgo, and had to choose between the heather or skybox I would choose the heather, reason, the skybox looks like a sloppy fit, could be just the picture they used, but a picture is just that, a picture, it could be better fit in person. The skybox strap that goes over the headrest appears to be attached to the seat to far forward causing it to lean and sag forward. The booster seat should be flush against the back of the car seat. I don't like the idea of attaching the tether to the cars seatbelt. The heather appears to be a snugger fit, the strap that goes over the headrest is attached to the seat a bit more towards the back making it more flush with the back of the car seat and the picture shows no sagging. Thing is, it doesn't say or show where the tether is. These elevated booster seats are very adjustable as for how high or how low you want the seat to be which is what I like. The tighter you make the strap that goes around the back of your car seat the sturdier the seat will be, less sag. I have mine very tight. If I could go into a store and buy these I would buy one of each to see which one was the best fit for my vehicle, and return the one I didn't like. When you spoke to cust service regarding the heather seat, did you ask where the tether was, is it attached to the booster seat or do you have to attach it to the cars seatbelt. If you didn't I suggest calling and asking. The skybox video shows the tether attaches to car seatbelt. Also ask do they collapse for storage. Although your baby is 5 pounds I would go one size larger to give room to lay down. Good luck in what ever you choose, let us know how it works for you.

| By no means am I pushing the tagalong, it is what works for my boy. My kido weighs 12 pounds lol yes a big boy. The tagalong has no sagging what so ever with his weight. It has steal framing on top to keep its shape. It fits flush against the back of my car and truck. The tether is attached to the back steel frame of the booster seat. It's not a fancy seat, that's not what I was looking for. I like the fact that these seats can be raised higher if your pup likes to look out of the window which my kid likes to do, or they can be lowered. Chewie's ad for booster seats has been flashing on everything I am on, FB, yahoo, weather sites lol, very very reasonable prices, I was tempted to buy another one just for a change in color lol, but when I looked at them they just didn't seem as well made as my 4 year old tagalong. When I bought mine I asked the fellow in Pet Supplies to put it together for me so I could plop my kid in it right away, 5 minutes and we were good to go, all I had to do was adjust the straps setting it up in my truck. Another feature I like is that it is collapsible and takes up very little room in my truck or trunk of the car. He has not gotten car sick from day one using it, he likes to sit high and look out of the window, he now loves going for rides. Going directly into a store to see in person the item for me is a must do when it comes to Cody, he is so miss sized lol. Good luck
