| Groomer I am so frustrated because I took Ella to get groomed yesterday and I have been waiting and waiting for her hair to grow out on top so it doesn't fall out of the clip that I put in and I asked them to trim her, alittle. The girl said, "beard and feet?" I said, "Perfect. And I want a bow in her hair." I pick her up and they gave her a flat top and attached a bow to her collar. I'm sooooo annoyed! |

| upset oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been in someone's face over that. They did my poodle that way once. They shaved the ball of her tail, they shaved her topknot off and her little whiskers. i threw a fit and told them they would never touch my dog again and they were lucky I was not suing them. She also had big gaps in her fur on her back. I was throwing such a fit that the vet even came to the grooming room. He had been our vet for years. the groomer was fired after that and we got a new vet. |

| I am so sorry this has happened to you. I would have been livid. It sounds like you told the groomer exactly how you wanted it cut and they did it the way they wanted to do it. The bow on the collar would have sent me over the edge. Dont give up on allgroomers though there are some good ones out there that will cut the hair exactly how you want it cut. My first grooming experience wasnt what I wanted so I tried a new groomer and she cut them exactly as I asked. I will continue to ask for that groomer every time now. You will find one you like also.

| I'm sorry they did that to her! They clearly didn't care what you wanted. But, atleast it wasn't your hair! My friend got his haircut last week, and it was HORRIBLE. He told the hairdresser that it looked like you-know-what, and she disagreed and told him she would have to charge him for another haircut if he wanted her to fix it! Coming from a third party... it really DID look like :zip: .

| I am so sorry, it sure takes a long time to grow that hair, and seconds for them to cut it off. I had mine groomed twice and never liked what they did to my babies. They shaved Bronx and said he was to matty. Now I bathe them each week and brush every day. When I feel brave, I give haircuts myself. It has been over a year since either of mine have been to a groomer and they are still not 'matty'. bronx does get more matty, but they brush right out, I have never cut a mat out of his hair. Good luck.

| Our Yorkie's haircuts are just as important as our own. We indeed take it personal when the groomer(s) do NOT live up to our expectations. It sounds like it might be time to find another groomer. Maybe take in pictures and communicate to the groomer exactly what you want then ask them to show you what they plan on doing with Ella. This way once the groomer shows you it will tell you if he/she understood what kind of cut you are expecting, etc. Good Luck and atleast know that Ella's hair will grow back.
