If yes -- unfortunately, you can't do that. Don't ever, ever feed a dog a cooked bone - they became fragile and will splinter into sharp pieces. Raw bones are safe bc they are still "pliable" in terms of bone.

| We found that the yak milk bones kind of melt away as they are chewed - maybe like saliva and chewing action together makes them just soft enough. We never saw any signs of any part of the chew splintering and our pup never showed any signs of gum bleeding or teeth issues. They wore better than the Nylabone for puppies for aggressive chewers that we used for a previous dog. Those did seem to get sharp edges and we would have to throw them out. The other chew I would recommend is the Nylabone with bumps on it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JZIDDQG...s_ad_dp_asin_1 Our dog does like the stimulation that it gives, but with no flavor they don't hold her interest as long.
