You just have to keep being consistent some times they have accidents. Are you praising her and giving her a treat when she goes where you want? The best thing to do with her name is say it and then come when you have treats. Some times is takes a lot of work especially with rescues.

We have been taking her out hourly. I guess I need to find some liver based treats.. havent been able to find any. Ill look for whatever brand carries them as they're only treats.I have been praising hr when she goes outside but dont give her treats because I tried and she pushes her face away if i do that.

When she does it, shes just focused on it.

Pet Botanics Beef Mini Training Rewards (https://www.chewy.com/pet-botanics-m...ards/dp/102774) are liver-based. (Check the description and ingredients. I can also personally vouch that they taste like liver .) You can find them in Petsmart and other large pet stores, or order them online. Bella absolutely loves them.

Do you know of a good kibble that even the pickiest of dogs would like? perhaps something with liver tasting? apparently someone here mentioned its a dogs favorite?

Sunny LOVES treats by the brand Old Mother Hubbard (Petsmart & Petco both carry them). They have a variety of flavors and also specific training-treats. (Little bugger loves them so much he literally salivates; I have to wipe the floor down so someone doesn't slip!)

I managed to find a store that carried more dog foods and we got "Fromms- Pork and apple kibble ", and got her this large bone. It's comes bleached (I think- otherwise it wouldnt be so white?) and it's thick but small. Thick that she can on voraciously but not too small that she'd swallow it (about the size of her head) .

What we got her was a sturdy hollow bone. I feel like if i threw it to the concrete it probably wouldnt break in one shot.

A lot of people love Fromm! Just be careful because the harder the bone the more likely it could break teeth. My Callie broke her tooth on a bully stick several years ago.

I can't keep buying her stuff to chew... not for now at least. and I just monitor with her chewing anyways. I never allow anything to get out of hand.

I've been buying her several different chews. I tried the CET ones and she wouldnt take them.

I gave her greenies, and she gt it for like 4-5mins broke it into pieces and swallowed them.

So not much of a tooth cleaning thing the greenies.


I think if the bone is boiled for sometime it might get somewhat softer?

My boy LOVES Bully sticks, the ones I get have no odor. I get the 10 inch ones, throw it away when it's appox. 3 inches. I don't think about where they come from lol, just how much my boy LOVES them.

Dogs should never have cooked bones they can splinter and cause big issues.
