| To be honest I dont know why that other thread was closed and the fact that it was makes me wonder what we CAN talk about on here without being censored?. People were simply expressing their thoughts and opinions and I didnt see it getting rude at all, infact,I found it interesting. We are a bunch of people from different countries, with different opinions, different up bringings and THAT is supposed to be the fun of it,learning from others and keeping AN OPEN MIND.We arent go to agree on everything but does that mean that every time we disagree a thread is going to be closed? What is this, kindergarden?? Why does the subject of size get those with the larger yorkies so upset? If it doesnt matter, then why all the fuss? It doesnt matter at all, they are all the exact same breed! I have 2 yorkies and they are totally different in size and I LOVE them both, they are the reason I joined forums like this.I often find my self leaving Lady out of the conversation on here because god forbid I mention something I shouldent, and I plan on breeding Jess but god forbit I mention that too..I (or any one else) shouldent have to go elsewhere to ask about CERTAIN subjects,if this is a yorkie forum, all subjects should be accepted and if possible, awnsered in order to help the owners of this great breed. Cant we just accept that we are all different and that we arent going to agree on everything? I sure dont apreciate it when a thread is frozen just because someone felt insulted because "she has a bigger one than I do"... To me thats just silly. |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OK everyone ...This thread was started to smooth over something and to keep bringing up a closed thread won't help anyones feelings - why not just comment and leave names out of this ? it's easy .....We love everyones yorkies here - big or small - There are gorgeous yorkies in all weight groups - I have a bigger one and smaller one - to me they're PERFECT. I don't sit around and wish they were any different because this is what they were BORN to be like.... and to me - they are part of my heart. To wish them smaller or different would be like saying I didn't love them as they are....and I DO. VERY MUCH.... as I know you all do. |

Excellent point Kim. I agree with you 100% Our thread was no different than threads about Biewers, babydoll face yorkies, larger than standard yorkies, silkies, ect. Great post.

I think I'm going to leave YT for good.....I can't take this. I used to enjoy this site and people used to enjoy me being ON this site....I really respected so many members that have now treated me rudely and I'm appalled. Just appalled. And Socal....that thread about "larger yorkies" I had nothing to do with, either. My dog is 8 pounds. He's a yorkie and I don't think talking about weight alone is what YT is about.

I realize that you did not post on the "Larger Yorkie" thread and I was wondering if that was a conscious decision on your part because you also felt that thread was hurtful or inappropriate? No one complained about that thread including you so it would help to know if it is a two way street or not. We love you and Sully and YT wouldn't be the same without you. | |

| Don't leave girl! I agree with you that people are too obsessed with size. Why couldn't the title have been just "the joy of owning a yorkie?" or the other one "post ALL your yorkie pics here" I don't know why, it's just something ppl choose to do I guess. Why does size matter so much? Just ignore the people who are rude to you and hold those people who care about you close. They're the ones that really matter. |

| What I am having trouble understanding is where people are getting the idea that ANYONE said ANYTHING about larger Yorkies not being Yorkies? I think this is an assumption that people are making but no one has said it. Small Yorkies, large Yorkies, standard Yorkies, tiny Yorkies, are ALL YORKIES!
