| Yup, Yorkies are definitely for spoiling!! And as long as you're happy with them and their ways without any complaints, then I say, spoil away

| I was like that with my baby girl yorkie, until someone experiences that bond with a pet they will never understand and think you are crazy. It's your life though, so if that is what makes you happy who cares what they think, life is too short for that. I lost my baby girl recently and i don't regret spoiling her and treating her like a human, she changed my life and the bond and love we had is something i will never forget, she has made me a better person. the only thing i would suggest is working on her socialization esp with other dogs, just doing things to help build her confidance so she dosen't become an anxious or neurotic dog, continue training her, it helps stimulate her mind and with positive reinforment it helps build her confidance. after i would get my little girl to do something i taught her i would give her positive reinforcment, cheer for her and she would wiggle her little yorkie butt so proud of herself.i gave my baby girl the best life a dog could have and i don't regret it all. |

| I must say this almost sounds like my case with my furbaby lol Granted she'll go off and "pout" if she doesn't get her way, but in the end I have spoiled her quite well lol

| As I've said before, my Piper is not spoiled rotten. In my eyes she is spoiled to perfection! |

| Hi JK!! They are both doing great. Running around, wrestling and barking at each other as I type this. Lil one is almost 6 mo old now and we can't figure out what we did before without two of these little critters!

| mine is way too spoiled too...i dont care she is my baby....the only thing I am not liking is that she sometimes doesnt want to eat when she is alone...she wants company and also sometimes asks to be hand fed! She is almost 10 months...she is 95% well behaved...

| Definition of Spoiled: harm the character of (a child) by being too lenient or indulgent. For me, "spoiling" a dog would mean giving in to their every demand exactly when they demand it. A "loved" dog lives in harmony with the world around it. How much attention or toys or special treats is a personal thing. We all have varying degrees of what makes us happy. And of course there is the personality and needs of the dog him/herself too. Monty isn't a "lap dog" meaning he won't stay in my lap long but ... whenever I approach him he flips onto his back and presents his tummy and gets all dreamy waiting for that rub. And he can get demanding if I fail to make him wait for his food ... next time he is all impatient and trying to rush me. He gets tons of attention, but also has boundaries enforced so he can be happy and in harmony with social norms and therefore a pleasure to be around. |
