I was like that with my baby girl yorkie, until someone experiences that bond with a pet they will never understand and think you are crazy. It's your life though, so if that is what makes you happy who cares what they think, life is too short for that. I lost my baby girl recently and i don't regret spoiling her and treating her like a human, she changed my life and the bond and love we had is something i will never forget, she has made me a better person. the only thing i would suggest is working on her socialization esp with other dogs, just doing things to help build her confidance so she dosen't become an anxious or neurotic dog, continue training her, it helps stimulate her mind and with positive reinforment it helps build her confidance. after i would get my little girl to do something i taught her i would give her positive reinforcment, cheer for her and she would wiggle her little yorkie butt so proud of herself.i gave my baby girl the best life a dog could have and i don't regret it all.
