| You might want to look into a modified ejector seat (ala the ones in jets)--you know, for sake of your lovely wife and that lil' Screamin' Eagle of yours... |

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Just read this thread. And I can just see Charlie telling you how it is. He is having one tough time training you lol. My Riley at nights will whine and soft bark until I cover him up. Don't put covers on me right away silly. You get to sleep and then I will decide when I will awake you to cover me up. Yup he has me trained. Good luck

| OMG - we got something on ole Charlie! The wife was on the phone with our Granddaughter and let out a fake cry. WELL - ole Charlie ran across the room to her and scratched her leg like he was checking to make sure she was ok. Well, at the moment we realized WE had the upper hand so the wife stopped, let Charlie jump on one of his toys and she let out a cry. Yuppa - ole Charlie ran over to her and scratched leg and the wife stopped. Well, we did this for almost a half an hour thoroughly enjoying ourselves at his expense - cry and scream now Charlie!

BEGIN becoming the alpha dog -- YOU not your baby. If she tries to get your attention by scratching your legs, move the leg and turn your back to her. JUST told her to wait until invited. After a couple of minutes turn back around and pet her IF she does not jump on you again. If her little toes go on your leg again repeat her lesson and she will get the body language message loud and clear BUT you must be consistent. If you give in just once she will know she can get away with USUALLY unacceptable behavior if she repeats the behavior x-number of times. May take a few times but you do not want her jumping up and putting a run in your stockings when you are going out for a wonderful date with your husband. [If he does not have a date lined up - You make all the arrangements and surprise him. (Worked for my fiance before he fell-in-the-line. James had a wonderful time sharing that with the other guys on his watch. Still miss him after 45 yrs).] Last edited by 4OC; 01-20-2016 at 11:37 AM. | |

| EASILY fixed.......stop feeding her the "other food". Piper won't starve herself to death. Keep the other food for a snack AFTER she has eaten her good for her food. This should take about 3-7 days. Do not mix them together as she will just pick out the other food. Might also get some lean hamburger and mix with an equal part of water - 1/2 cup meat = 1/2 cup water. Sit in the refrigerator about 1 hour for the water to absorb the meat flavor. Pour over the good food and let the water soak in. Repeat this for each meal. Size the amount of meat to the portion of food you are giving Piper. |

| Uh-ohhh, pride goeth before the fall or something like...I congratulate you on this weird turn of events (pranking that cute boy), but I gotta say, my money is on Charlie. You know, the bright planets are not going to be aligned much longer and whacky stuff will stop. I see Charlie regaining his senses while you continue to lose yours---and oh dear, it's hard to imagine what's next. |

| Well, today I slept in and ole Charlie got up on the bed with his toy and starting barking (translation: try and get my toy). I decided to ignore him so I didn't move. I was laying on my side so butt head climbs on me and positions himself just above my ear and starts barking! How in the world did he know to bark in my ear?
