You, and everyone else here, are absolutely 1000% welcome to post any/all articles here - no matter where they come from, who they are by, whether backed by science or not, or whatever -- whether or not holistic or traditional. You are most welcome to do so, and I for one appreciate all/any info that people post here at YT, bc I think we can learn from pretty much anything.

Don't stop posting what you find that you think may be of interest to others...bc if it's of interest to you, it's probably of interest to others too...even if/when it ushers in a good (and respectful) debate.

OP, I just want to say while I don't agree with the article as a whole regarding rabies I will look more into the side effects from the vaccine. It's the law here to get it so I really can't do anything about it but it's nice for possible causes to certain behaviors to be shown. THANK YOU for bringing the article to our attention. Information is key whether or not one agrees with it.

Wonder if there are other "me's" out there ...not quite so up on the correct information of things. Not knowing how to analyze and read research for validity ...I didn't realize it was pseudoscience smoke and mirrors.....
Do I need to apologize for that?

You know what Zoey, you brought up an excellent point. I think sometimes some of us do forget that we may all come from different backgrounds and such. I hope you continue to post your questions and I know that all of us here will continue to try to help even when we disagree. I'm sorry if any of my posts made you feel bad.

Saying a dog is scared of storms because of the rabies shot is not something I can take seriously it's so off base with no science to back it up. It seems really wacky to me.

You have absolutely *zero* you need to apologize for her, seriously. You found something interesting, and posted about it. That is what YT is here for...to post things, discuss things, ask questions, learn. You also deserve to be treated respectfully, kindly, and in a supported manner...whether or not people agree w/ your opinion or what you posted. We all deserve a modicum of common decency here at YT.

Personally, I don't tend to label things as "pseudoscience" or "smoke and mirrors" or things like that...I just find that as labeling, rather than as descriptive or explanatory (which is what I prefer, but that's me). I'd rather someone explain and back-up their opinion rather than just dismissing someone or something as "oh that's just smoke and mirrors". Other people reading will likely appreciate a well thought out opinion, rather than just label-calling. Ya know what I mean?

I'm all for evidence-based knowledge, but there is a huge space as well where opinion and editorials are just as important, meaningful, and educational.

Lol ok should I share what one person wrote and deleted on a thread where Jodi was just just posting an article and got bashed? Yep I judge you might be surprised to find out everyone does it especially those who say they don't. I stand by what I said it is seriously crazy to say I do is scared of thunderstorms because of the rabies shot just like those people saying a dog is scared of thunderstorms because they were spayed to early. There are people who will actually believe that stuff and it's just wrong.

Taylor, you have COMPLETELY missed the point here. You were just plain rude, end of story. If you seriously cannot recognize that, then you either need a break from YT bc it's not a healthy place for you, you need to re-read your post until you understand the difference, or you need to re-read the many many threads you've started yourself regarding your own hurt feelings. Opinions and websites like this tell people it is ok to risk their own and their pets lives...not to mention other innocent people who don't have a choice, to conditions and illnesses that have largely been eradicated. I wish there were a way to mark those people and their pets because quite frankly I don't want what they put themselves at risk of. This all reminds me of the people who won't vaccinate their children for fear of autism even though it has been scientifically been proven that vaccines don't cause it. But, now people are contracting measles and some die?? Same thing here...this is rabies...I am honestly shocked at the vast numbers of people who don't fear rabies.

Is there a chance that we are over vaccinating? Perhaps, but let research come to that conclusion. I would much rather over than under. As for this condition...I could probably find some of those symptoms in every pup in my house.
