YT 500 Club Member | Camp Bow Wow rocks! I took Toby and Izzy to a place called camp bow wow to check it out. I was nervous about having izzy with a gang of other dogs, but she needs socialization, and so does Toby. So I figured I'd try it. They asked all kinds of questions about them the minute I walked in. And not reading off a list or preprepared sheet either. They took pictures and took Toby first to the play yard and introduced the dogs to him one at a time so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. Until there were fifteen other dogs running around with him. And I got to watch every moment of it from a camera that I can access from my phone at any time! Then they did the same with izzy. There was always a person in the room at all times and it was really neat. I left them there for four hours, watching them from my phone like a stalker... And everything went fine. And when I picked them up they were so excited and when I got home a miracle happened. Toby crawled up on the recliner and passed out exhausted. All night long. That doesn't happen! So I think I've found my saving grace with Toby. They said izzy would play around a bit and then blow off the dogs to sit in the watchers lap. From what I could see they were right, lol. It was cool. I'm taking them there a lot from now on. It isn't even expensive. I spend that amount on chocolate alone in one day, so it's totally worth it if it wears them out safely. |

| That sounds great, young pups need to burn off all that energy, especially yorkies, they are so hyper. I am so happy Toby will have some doggie buddies. They have a place like that connected with my groomer, I checked it out last fall, thing is, they are big dogs and the girl that was supposed to be in the room at all times( the owners daughter) was not the day I went there, she was roaming around out in the grooming / store section until she heard a fight breaking out, then ran in and came out with a boarder collie. Not for me. And their fee is not the cost of chocolate lol. Oh and they don't introduce the dogs one by one to the new comer like your place did, which is really good, new dogs are just placed in the room, for small dogs this can be a bit over whelming to have several dogs charge over to check the new kid out. I am still looking around for a place that has small to med. size dogs only. Toby is going to have so much fun, and you will get so much more peace and quiet at home, it's a win, win situation for everyone.

YT 1000 Club Member | We have a doggie day care here. I did a training course with our big dog there, so I got to see it and be in it and everything. They have 3 outdoor areas for playing that are separated by fences. They have small to medium dogs in one side and then medium to large dogs in the next and the 3rd area is if they have a really large group, they can split them up, or they can take a smaller group out there or if they have a dog that is acting up they can move them to that area. Our big dog was not good with the other dogs in his class and when we had free time the last few minutes of class they let my dog play fetch with us in the large 3rd section and he loved it. He is always on a leash at home and so the freedom to run in there and chase the ball was fun for him. There were about 5 dogs in the class and all the rest were cocker spaniel or smaller sized except for my huge setter. It is funny because that was 3 years ago and now he likes only small dogs. From what I saw though the dogs at the daycare are well supervised at all times. They also have an indoor area for when it rains and the dogs can take turns in there as well and they go in there if it is really hot out too, although I don't think the dogs mind the heat all that much.

YT 500 Club Member | They have Camp Bow Wow locations all over the place. And since they are on camera 24/7 they always have someone in the room with them. And they put the dogs with others of the same size too. It was $17 for 6 hours or $25 for all day 5 am- 7pm. That's not bad at all. And all the customers I talked to loved the place and the other locations they'd been to when traveling. Check them out. Yeah this will be wonderful for Toby. He has turned into the most mischievous little terrorist...but he's friggin cute. Even when he's tearing up $20 bills while making eye contact with us... Lol |

| Toby sounds like my passed Matese. Matese was my 4th yorkie, she was so mischievous, when I moved to my house in Pa. I had her and my older one. Matese tore up my carpeting, chewed a bathroom shower molding, tore up carpet that led to a spare room, door was closed, she wanted to get in. Chewed living room molding. She was 5. 6 and 7 years old not a puppy lol. I blamed her actions to the move and her life style had changed drastically. I was gone 16 hours a day, I had to commute to my NY job. This was while I was at work. I always said, if Matese had been my first yorkie, she would have been my last. I can't tell you how many times I would leave my purse on the sofa when I came in from work, she managed to get into my purse and shred $20. bills I blamed myself for leaving my purse where she could get at it. When I was home on weekends she was a fun loving little clown. But I loved her dearly. I am going to see if there is a Camp Bow Wow in my vicinity, their pricing is very reasonable and I like the idea they match dogs to size. Maybe because of Toby's mischievous ways was the reason the prev. owner gave him up.

| I found a camp bow wow, it's an hour from me, however, 3 or 4 times a month sometime more, I am in that area. They even have grooming services and boarding. Don't think I would ever use boarding, but hey, ya never know. I will contact them today, thing is, Cody is adopted, he did come with medical records, they want proof of Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper, I don't have the vet bills to show he had them, he had Rabies, Distemper Bordetella IDK. I have his Rabie tag. I'll have to see how I can work around this.
