Toby sounds like my passed Matese. Matese was my 4th yorkie, she was so mischievous, when I moved to my house in Pa. I had her and my older one. Matese tore up my carpeting, chewed a bathroom shower molding, tore up carpet that led to a spare room, door was closed, she wanted to get in. Chewed living room molding. She was 5. 6 and 7 years old not a puppy lol. I blamed her actions to the move and her life style had changed drastically. I was gone 16 hours a day, I had to commute to my NY job. This was while I was at work. I always said, if Matese had been my first yorkie, she would have been my last. I can't tell you how many times I would leave my purse on the sofa when I came in from work, she managed to get into my purse and shred $20. bills I blamed myself for leaving my purse where she could get at it. When I was home on weekends she was a fun loving little clown. But I loved her dearly. I am going to see if there is a Camp Bow Wow in my vicinity, their pricing is very reasonable and I like the idea they match dogs to size. Maybe because of Toby's mischievous ways was the reason the prev. owner gave him up.
