I worked at Walmart for over a year and one thing we were told is we were not allowed to push our personal opinions on the customer. So you telling customers not to buy Iams and Eukabu because of this or that would be against policy. Just a fair warning.

Also my dog just got diagnosed with epilepsy and one thing the vet told me to start her on (and even included a bag himself as part of the visit) is Eukanuba FP as it is proven to be healthier and help control epilepsy symptoms in dogs.

Every cleaner you use has a child warning on it. Bleach after completely drying and a room aired out has worked well for me. No adverse reactions as to date. Ive used it for a long time.

Anytime I clean floors, I make sure that my dogs are not allowed on them until they are dry. I have done this for years and had no problems. So I think that whatever you use will be safe as long as it is dry before they step on it.

I have several yorkies so I cant use Murphys soap I would if I could!
I have to use something that kills bacteria, spores, and has a wham to it.
Does Murphys oil soap have antibacterial properties to it? I dont have any in the house.

I have tile floors and I use bleach and water in my Floormate. It puts the bleach and water down, scrubs the floor, and then picks it up. The floor is dry. I LOVE my Floormate! The first time I used it I wanted to see just how clean it got the floors so after I did the floor I wiped it with a wet paper towel and not a speck of dirt was on that paper towel. Anyone else have one?

Every single cleaner has a child warning on it these days but obviously theyre harmless once the floor is dry.
I use bleach all the time and always have,I cant imagine washing my floor with something thats just going to smell great but leave the bacteria behind,so bleach is a great option because I love the disenfected smell that it leaves behind.
I always wash my floors with the windows and patio doors open anyway because I want it to dry as quick as possible so that feet marks arent left over..once its dry,its perfectly safe, even if Iv used tons of bleach.
I tried vinegar and water once but it left the house smelling like a fast food restaurant for ages

I use the Swiffer Wet Jet, and for major cleanings, I use Mr. Clean.

Odorban works good. I mix it with whatever I'm using.
I buy it by the gallon at Sam's. Only need small amount.

I have three dogs total, one is not a Yorkie, and I have used Swiffer Wet Jet since it came out with absolutely no problems. For quick clean-ups, I have a spray bottle with a little dishwashing liquid and water mixed.

My floors are ceramic tile with carpet in the living area, large open concept room with lots of tile to carpet contact area. Could not use bleach or it would damage the carpet. Personally, vinegar is great for removing hard water spots on plumbing fixtures, but just don't feel it sanitizes the floors.

sabrinasmom.....do a google search on vinegar and household uses. You will find that the ordinary white VINEGAR you buy in your grocery store kills 99% of all bacteria found in the home. Yep that's right! <grin> And it's very safe for the home and human and PETS. I use it on floors, bathrooms, kitchen counters, dog kennels etc......way too many things to mention here. I also put it in my carpet machine and rinse the carpet after shampooing. I mix the stuff 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Sometimes I use stronger for kitchen counters and cutting boards. Also I use full strength on the grates in the kennel crates. Works like a charm, safe for the animal and environment, AND it leaves a fresh smell behind....what more could one ask for in a cleaner!

The fumes affected her lungs and also the vet thought she may have liked it off her feet. Anyway she was posioned and died...this was the finding of the neocrosy. I am now SUPER careful with Odoban!! But yes there is nothing as good as removing odors and germs. I am careful to suggest only safe chemicals for the pet owner to use.

Jimmidy Christmas!........I cant stand ammonia.......it just about kills me to use it..............but very very occasionally I use it because the properties of it are supposed to kill bacterial spores so resilent that bleach doesnt even kill them.
I never use it around the puppies though, I can barely breath with the stuff, I figure my puppies couldnt stand the stuff either.
I repeat myself.....white VINEGAR kills 99% of any bacteria found in the home. And it is very very safe to use around humans or animals. <Grin>

Please so a search on lysol.....it is very dangerous to use around animals.
