| ![]() Boy, I am no expert by any means. But, my experience has shown me a worn out dog, it a better behaved dog (or one that is calmer at least!). I have two dogs in one: Hyper Izzie and Worn out Izzie. While I love both, Worn Out Izzie does not get in the trash. |

| ![]() Hi~~Just wondered how things are going with Jake? There were some (sometimes) heated, always interesting posts going on for awhile...Are things going as you had hoped with Jake? I don't know why, you all just came to mind and I thought I'd check-in. |

| ![]() Hi guys, Sorry haven't had much time to come on here for the last month but thanks for asking how we are doing! Jake is doing great, although its a long process putting in a pen has seemed to help him so much. He is still limited to the kitchen/utility room or anywhere downstairs that has wipe clean floors!!! lol. He has stopped going to the toilet most of the time but will sometimes choose to go inside if it takes his fancy, but none of this has been on any furniture so its a bonus!!! The trainer has been back to see how things are going and is so happy with how Jake is progressing. My dog Bella is now living with us full time and I've never seen two dogs sooooo in love! They do everything together.. they have two separate beds, but choose to squeeze themselves into the same one which is incredibly cute to see and since Bella is really responsive this has helped with Jake as now he comes to call when we call him and comes straight in from the garden first time, after a few times of him staying outside until he came when called but he soon learnt that it was a very cold game when the door got shut if he did not come and was soon running at the chance to come back in as soon as called which is a HUGE victory for us (and saves so much money on the heating bills not leaving the door open all the time!!! haha) But all in all Jake is improving, slowly but surely! We are taking it one step at a time but things are definitely looking up and our household is a happy one again ![]() |

| ![]() Music to my ears! Thank you for the uplifting update on Jake. These furbutts never cease to amaze me... how well they respond once we understand what to do. It takes time, patience, dedication to rehab a dog and going slow and steady is the usually pace, but it's rather quick if you think about it... try rehabbing a person. It looks like Bella has become a good influence on Jake and it so great to hear these two have bonded so wonderfully.
