| Pawmagic seems to be for softening dry cracked paws and healing. Musher's secret seems to be a heavier wax to act as a barrier between the paws and hot or cold surfaces. Or am I misunderstanding?

I usually order most things through amazon, because of free shipping. Like right now i want a plug in cord for my label maker. Its saved in my cart until i find something else i want to buy that will push me over the purchase price to get free shipping

| That sounds about right. But pawmagik does leave a protective film too, as it stops those little ice balls from forming between the paw pads when playing in the snow.

| I never used Pawmagic so I can't say anything about that one. As for Musher's Secret, from what you described, it sounds like it's more.. heavy duty(for lack of better words) then Pawmagic. Musher's Secret also softens and heals pads as well as protects them from hot/cold. But my bigger concerns were the chemicals(salts) on sidewalks for snow. |

| I use a product called Bag Balm. I got it from Walgreens. It comes in a green tin. I rub a little on my fingers and then rub it on my little one's paws. It is not messy. I also use it on any nicks or small skin issues and it clears them up very quickly. The directions state to use it on tender and sore cow udders :/ for healing. It was not very expensive at all. |

| I love Mushers Secret. Reading the testimonials about it's healing properties is amazing, but I mostly use it for winter walks as a protection. It is also supposed to be good on hot pavements, but I try to keep katie off of hot surfaces. I also use Bag Balm at times. |

| We use bag balm. A show breeder here (mardelin) has some old threads about it. Haven't seen her in a while. Bag balm works great for dry winter skin for us too.

| My friend uses bag balm on her horses cuts and scrapes. She has a bucket of it in her barn.
