That sounds good too. Thanks. I ended up getting something from Petsmart by Burt's Bees. It said safe and effective on the label. It softened really well and it worked great to soften her pads. And she didn't lick it off. I am very happy with it so far. Thanks for all of your responses. I would have definitely tried them if I could have found them at Petsmart. I also got a thicker wax to help protect their paws from ice and snow. I hope I have good luck with that too.
