You should be fine! Just start over like you're just starting to potty train her again. You never know, she might pick up pretty fast. I just left my pup in the kitchen since he was having runny stool and didn't want him to have to go in the crate and I just checked on him and he had pooped on the pad! I was so happy! This is after a month of going strictly outside. You should be fine, just don't give up on her

Jackson can hold it for 10-12 hours overnight. During the day I generally don't push it past 6 hours.

I agree every dog is different, I've had a few that could last 9 hours during the day but had to get up at night.
My little Spike has been sleeping 9 + hours without messing his kennel and doesn't have to wait more than 5 hours at a time during the day where he is in "lock down," while we're at work.

I'm a little blessed he was already half trained when I got him at 14 weeks, so it hasn't been too hard to watch the patterns, and he's starting to signal by going to the top of the steps and looking at me. Good Boy!

We work from home. We have Bailey on a pretty solid schedule which seems to work. We try to not let him go more than 4 hours during the day. He gets two walks each day. They are usually around 8am and 4 pm. At night before we go to bed (10-10:30pm) we take him out one last time. He is usually good until 6:30 or so.

When we go out on an occasional evening, it's usually no more than 5 to 6 hours and he does just fine.

No that I disagree with you although small dogs are too small to be outside alone so a doggy door when your gone is a terrible idea especially for one of the most stolen breeds. But I never go bathroom in a public restroom so I never go when I'm out. I think I have gone 12 hours at the most lol

Wow on some days I cannot hold it for more than twenty minutes after my last pee! I would be in agony holding it all day but I have a friend who feels the same about public bathrooms as you do. I even have a little emergency disposable packets for me in the car if ever I get caught in traffic. Buster can hold it for hours sometimes and other times he is like me so I like to have the pee pad for him.

Mine can hold it for about 3-4 hours. He is 4 months and 2.5 lbs.
