I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Great news and I see they are adding neglect to animal cruelty, which is a great thing.

| Great news and tracking the crimes for analysis and helping increase jail time, etc., plus the other uses they can put the data to, are great ideas. Any additions to animal cruelty laws that will wind up actually resulting in reigning in more of these monsters and resulting in them getting time in a jail cell and heavy fines are only good news for dog, cats, horses and every other poor animals these sicko's take their frustrations and rages out on, from outright neglect to physically harming them to outright killing - this is a great thing for animals.

| Good news, especially where cockfighting etc is concerned. Any harsh penalties can only serve as a deterrent as most of the above is already conducted underground with lesser penalty. Will be interesting to see how far this goes towards assisting with the issue and wonder how far it will be examined on Animal Cops, for example. I have a love/hate relationship with that show! |
