| Are raincoats a necessity for yorkies? Ok.....Winnie has no issues going out in the rain....she actually loves it. Which is good cuz she does her business regardless....but she winds up soaked very quickly. Shes not great with grooming and is terrified of the dryer....and I wind up holding her wrapped in a towel becauseshe gets very cold whrn she comes in. So my question is....is a raincoat actually effective or is it just an accessory? |

| I had a raincoat for my poodles and they were very effective at keeping them from getting soaked. I would recommend getting one for your yorkie. Especially since she comes in shivering from getting so wet.

| Mine wont go out in the rain unless they have their raincoats on! They go from window to window, looking outside, then "gruffing" back at me, as if to say, "Mom, make it stop!" |

| How is she with clothes in general? Zoey will resist moving with anything that has sleeves so I had to find a raincoat that didn't have long arms. Saves me so much time/energy having to dry them off with the raincoats. And I'm sure both Magnus/Zoey appreciates it b/c they won't have to deal with the blow dryer. Here's a clip with Magnus/Zoey trying out their raincoats for the first time. This is in the snow but it works just as well in the rain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csJhPQ1SVw0 |

| Raincoats Yes I think so. My boy seems to like the coat and it sure prevents the drying process afterwards. :-) He does prefer to have the hood pulled back so he can see to sniff better. |

| Gina doesn't have one but she loves the water and the hair dryer, if it's raining I put a towel in the dryer before taking her outside, then wrap her up in the warm towel and dry her off, she relly loves to play while getting dried with the dryer. I am going to get her a raincoat for this winter though, does anyone have a suggestion for a particular type of raincoat? Cheers Quad & Gina

| Yazmin refuses to step out into the rain unless she's wearing a raincoat and shoes! Lol I recently purchased this one from our YT member Kristen, (Maximo). I like it because it's easy to put on and closes at the neck and chest with velcro. Raincoats can very effective in keeping your baby warm and dry! Pocket Fold Up Dog Raincoat Red Skull |
