| Hello, I have Trupanion insurance for my yorkie. With a $1000 deductible I pay about $17/month. The younger the dog is when you sign up, the lower your monthly payment will be. I have found this to be especially helpful when my yorkie had C. Dif., at which time I was paying $35/month with a $100 deductible. The insurance company reimbursed me approximately $200 of the vet bill, and I only paid $100 of it. I do find it to be worth the cost, mostly because my yorkie has luxating patella, so I fear that he will end up with arthritis down the road. It is also good peace of mind knowing that God forbid an accident occurs, I am only responsible for $1000 plus 10% of the cost to take care of my baby. Hope this helps!

| I have Embrace and I pay about $46 a month for it. I have their Wellness plan, accident & illness and RX drug plan. It's a $300 ded, 90% reimbursement, $5,000 annual max and $50,000 lifetime max for their accident & illness plan and I have a $200 a year wellness plan. They have a 6mth waiting period for anything orthopedic unless you have your puppy checked out by your vet clearing them of any orthopedic issues. Once they have the form clearing your puppy they will waive the 6 mth waiting period as long as there hasn't been any pre-existing incidents prior to signing up for the insurance. Also the orthopedic exam has to be done after you sign up for their accident & illness insurance. I hope this helps!

| Sheldon is also on an Embrace plan. They have quite few plans to choose from to fit everyone's budget and everything seems pretty simple. That said, I've not made a claim yet, but i so like the coverage I'm getting at the price I pay. |

| I have Embrace for 1 yorkie and Trupanion for my other...so far I have not had to make any claims yet...i am getting ready to sign my 3rd yorkie up for trupanion..The reason why I'm choosing Trupanion is because my vet bills trupanion directly, which is a great option for me.

| I have Embrace on my two. I have only made one claim and it was for wellness. I had a check in hand in less than two weeks after I faxed it in to them. I like the fact that they cover so many procedures on their wellness plan, including anal gland expression and nail clipping. I haven't had to use the accident and illness policy yet thank goodness.

| I have Healthy Paws. I pay $37 a month. $250 deductible covers 80%. No max on illnesses. Does not cover annual shots, spay/neuter, dental. I haven't had to use it, but I feel safer with it. Didn't have it on my last yorkie and he suffered from bouts of pancreatitis for 10 years. Over 20k for his care over almost 18 years. It was an expensive lesson to learn.

| I just signed up for Pet Paws, yesterday in fact. Paying $38 a month with a $250 deductible and 90% reimbursement. Does not cover wellness and does not cover office visits. I needed some piece of mind. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have Healthy Paws for my 3, I used to have PetPlan. I think both are good companies but I like the way Healthy Paws does their deductibles better.

| I have Embrace on all three of my girls. I have the wellness as well. Mikkis dental was covered and when Lily goes for her spay it will be covered as well. They also cover Rosie's prescription food.
