| ![]() I'm embarrassed to say that I'm one of those people who know absolutely nothing about taking or posting photos! Would love to put on some photos of Mia and Pepper!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() Galen stayed with the breeder until he turned 2 lbs. He is now a whopping 3.6 lbs lol . . . I make sure I alway have Nurical on hand. And make sure he eats twice a day with a few treats during the day. I am very on top of his eating and what he does. No jumping on and off the couch. The little one can get hurt really easily. Good luck ![]()

| ![]() Kyra weighed a pound even at 12 weeks. A tiny seems to gain more slowly than average dogs do. If you decide to take her just be sure she eats regular meals and keep nutrical on hand. Make sure she isn't allowed to jump off or on things. Also I would not leave her alone until she is at least 2 lbs. Best of luck.

My protocol in such a case is that I keep them see how they do have my vets over time check on them and do a wait and see approach. If things seems to be ok getting well over 6 months of age, my Vet would do the spay/neuter, see how the pup does under anesthesia then if all is going well, proceed from there for a pet home. Time, after it is born and living/thriving under its own life system will often tell both my Vet and I more about the possibility of issues or not and particularly undergoing anasthesia for a normal procedure such as spay/neuter/baby teeth removal will often bring out any issues that may be underlying. Also bear in mind not all life threatening issues are something that can be tested for, often it is a wait and see. | |

| ![]() If you decide you want to go ahead, I would definatley get the vet's name and phone number and talk with the vet (not hired staff that can read the records) personally. Maybe even see if they would fax the records to you. Remember "Believe all of what you see and only half of what you hear." Last edited by horseymomma; 07-05-2014 at 11:50 AM. |
