| Mina's hair is either in a band (size 5/16) or in a scrunchie. She has enough hair for top knot or French braid. Kenzie's top knot looks like a palm tree, but it must be up at all times as well. Tilly's hair is very fragile and fine. She gets just a band ever few days. The rest of the time she doesn't have a top knot, but she is only 5 months old. |

| When my girls had long hair their hair was up half the time. They personally don't like it but I made them wear the bows anyways. Lol Now that they have short hair, most of the hair around their eyes I cut off. I'd like to grow their hair back, but I think they appreciate a little bit of a breeze in the summer even in Colorado. This winter I'll start growing their beautiful coats back again. |

| I tried a top knot on Bella, my SHORKIE,(picture on avatar which I unsuccessfully uploaded). It "knotted" up so easily. Are you soppossed to change it daily? |

| My smallest pup (Piper) has a really fine, silky coat and has to have a top knot in order to see. Unfortunately, Keegan likes to grab her by the topknot while playing and fling her around, so I take it down not only to rest her scalp but to give him less of an edge in tussling. I've just started trying to groom my three and just last night gave Keegan a cut that eliminated the need for a topknot. He hates topknots and had broken his hair above both eyes trying to scrub the band out. Finn's hair is crazy-looking without a topknot so I keep it pulled up almost all the time. Honestly, it's only partly to help him see; I just can't stand seeing his hair going all different directions.

| Well I have no luck with bows or anything else with Hannah. I've only cut her hair once and I guess I need to do it again. She hates anything in her hair and also makes it her mission to get it out. I bathed her on Monday and thought I'd try a bow but within 10 secounds it was out and she was trying to eat it. The funny part was when she thought there was still something in her hair she was shaking her head up and down just waiting for that bow to fly out. I am constantly brushing her hair out of her eyes. Ugh! Why doesn't she want to look prissy? She's so adorable when her hair is up! I've even tried the little Walmart scrunchies and baby clips and she will not keep them in.

| Pippi has a cotton coat and it's long enough for a bow, but really only just. It does flop into her eyes, but I leave it down for a couple of days at a time and every night. Every couple of days she has a bow on a clip. I have long hair and would hate to have it tied up for 24hrs, it would make me feel sore, so can't do it to her. She loves a head rub once the bow's removed, if she or Caleb haven't remove it during the day.

| When you take out the band, do any of you see some strands stuck on the band? I really like the lainee bands but I'm starting to wonder if they are too harsh for my girls hair. I've noticed her top knot has become "frizzy".. I think it's because the bands are pulling little strands off. I don't put her knot in too tight, either.. so this is the only thing I can think of for the recent frizz.

How old is your girl? Mine didn't like anything in her hair either but it doesn't bother her anymore. I would say to start with bands first and then once she doesn't mind the bands to move on to bows.

| She's 1 1/2. I've tried the tiny rubber bands and they do stay in for the most part. I'm just worried that she'll get those out and eat them! She cracks me up with her bow problem!! I usually have enough time to say Daddy look at your pretty girl and poof they are out! I rarely have enough time to even take a picture. She tends to try to look up at them the whole time they are in her hair nodding her head up and down.

| I would love for Cricket to wear bows and have a top knot. However, she plays with my parent's Bassett hound and he always manages to drool on her at some point, so that's not going to happen....... Oh well
