| What is this TWITCH?! Anyone else's fur baby jerks head up in middle of night and just look down? Like what was that?! ? She then moves away from where she's been. Drives me nuts....not just at night either but last night especially. No itching, or biting , barking , growling , licking, or rubbing..... I have searched for random flea....it's not a lot ...but has a history of occasionally doing this cause I mentioned it to the vet a long time ago , I thought it wierd. They seemed puzzled too. Bad dream? But it's during the day too.... What is this?! |

| Max does the same thing. We notice it when he sleeps on us. If he hears something he will look up and then lays back down to sleep. He is very nosey and don't want to miss anything. Lol |

| She could be hearing something. Or . . . Teddy does this when he has a little gas. He acts like, "What was that?!" Then he has to move.

In an odd way it does make me feel better that he is not the only dog this happens to though. I hope you find a solution! | |

| Another reason for moving, at least for my boys, is the spot where they are lying gets too warm from their body heat. When they are startled awake by a noise, they want to move to a cooler spot.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | My dogs have major dreams sometimes....where they will move their legs around, growl, make small bark noises. It fascinates me bc I'm wondering what the heck they are dreaming about !

| Zoey does something like this. When she is settling down to a nap she looks down at the cover and stares like there are bugs there. Sometimes she even snaps at them - nothing. I spoke with the vet and showed him a video and he wanted to put her on phenobarbital and I declined. She still stares at the covers but it doesn't last very long anymore.

| He thinks it is a neurological issue. She is doing just fine without being drugged.
