| Basically, the grain-free is more for pups that are allergic to grains.. Or maybe older dogs who need to have optimal calories. Since your baby is small, I would say to get complete health for a well-balanced diet.

| When Cayo was given to me he was eating Proplan, but after reading here and searching the web what would be best for our furbabies, I went to the petstore and read almost all brands ingredients. I selected "WellnessSmall Breed Complete Health Puppy Turkey, Oatmeal & Salmon Meal Recipe Dry Dog Food". It's been good for him and the omega3 from the salmon keeps his hair shinny. I put some nutrical on his food at least 3 times a week, specially those days he gets a little finicky. ![]() |

| Right now Nina 11weeks old is on Blue puppy. The breeder was giving her Royal Cannin but Ive weaned her off. We see a holistic vet and we will probably be switching to a raw diet once he says uts okl |

| IMHO grain free is best, raw is better. Dogs digestive tracts are not made to digest grain or kibble, and they are not adapting. I say buy the best grain free formula you can afford that your puppy eats and does well on. Not all foods will agree with your puppy either. I found Gunner likes one food over the other more expensive one and does well on it. I also feed raw twice a day. I have a happy, healthy well balanced dog. It is up to you and your fur-face!

| Make sure if you wanna feed raw you do the research because in my opinion there are some really big risks. I recently read an article by a vet nutritionist. Learned a lot.
