| Wallee has a girlfriend coming to stay for 10 days Wallee is going to be beside himself with happiness. His teenie tiny friend Anyah is coming to stay for 10 days while her mommy and daddy go away. They love each other a lot and there will be lots of zoomies happening here. The only thing I am concerned about is sleeping arrangements. Wallee sleeps in his bed on the floor of my room. (He doesn't do well if he gets disturbed while sleeping as he wakes growling or snapping and I haven't been able to break that). Anyah is used to sleeping in bed with her owners. I hope that I can convince her either to sleep in a bed beside Wallee on the floor or hope like heck Wallee doesn't kick up a fuss cause she is up and he isn't. I am also having a neighbor come and watch them as I have a dentist appointment and since Wallee is almost 13 lbs and she is only 3.5 I am super paranoid of letting them play together their first day when they are all excited unchaparoned. lol...Wallee is still learning "not" to try to hump her. (They are both fixed) Any ideas on how to handle night time? Wallee hasn't been crated since he was baby as he doesn't leave his bed and I am sure Anyah has never seen a crate. |

| so happy for Wallee...mine all sleep with me so I have no good advice in fact they take up my whole bed!! hehe. Does she have a lil crate maybe you could perch next to you by the bed... if she is used to sleeping with her parents I assume she will want to do the same with you.

| I wish I had advice, but Maggie is about to have her first sleepover (her boyfriend!) as well! I think eating and sleeping will be issues. Maggie sleeps in a crate and her friend sleeps wherever he wants, and he gets up early but Maggie and I sleep in. I guess Maggie will sleep downstairs with her crate door open and the two of them will work it out. I just hope I wake up in time to let her friend do his business. I have never walked Maggie at 7-8 am and I'm not starting now! Hopefully the backyard with a small fenced area will suffice for the morning business. THis is scheduled for Wed night so I'll let you know if I have any advice afterwards. There will be lots of zooming here as well, but luckily they are equal weight. He is taller so he usually wins when they wrestle, but she holds her own. She sometimes lays on her back and he sniffs (not sure if he licks) her lady parts. I filmed it once and hubby called it doggy porn. |

| perfect solution, have Anya sleep with your husband either in his bed or on the floor next to the bed. And be sure to close both doors or at least the one with your husband in it. This way Wallee's routine will not be interrupted and you won't teach him new habits that you do not want to continue. I assume your husband might not be down with this idea but tell him the house will probably be much more peaceful that way. If he absolutely refuses then have her sleep in one of her beds on the floor not to far from Wallee. Lola sleeps in bed with us, but when visiting my sister's house I will not let her do that, the bed is small, and high and the floor is wood and I am afraid my tossing might toss Lola off so I don't feel it safe. The first time she sort of wined to get up but eventually just got in her bed and now does this with no problem. After a day or two she will probably adjust just fine.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | What about an expen. I keep Galen in an expen at night and when I go out. One little 3.5 dog can get into a lot of trouble. It also keeps him safe from the cats. He humps poor Willow anytime my back is turned. Lol

| Bahahaha.....I had a vision of little Galen going to town on the poor cat. She will be ok most of the day. I will be watching and keep part of the house gated. Will have to really watch if she finds the cat boxes downstairs cause that will mean more gates. Lol. Wallee won't go downstairs for some weird reason but it's good cause he doesnt know cat boxes exist. Another thing that sucks is that she is only outside potty trained. Wallee will use both and it has been great not having to go outside in the cold and dark... |

| Cindy you are a saint for agreeing to 10 days I hope it all works out, have you done a day or two as a test run? Lola and my DH and I have such a good routine that I don't think I could watch anyone else's dog for fear it would mess up the good thing we have going. One time years ago I said I would watch a friend's 6# dog, but that we would need to do a test run, everything went well until bedtime, the dog would not settle down and was up and down the stairs barking, then we closed the door to the bedroom and he kept barking and scratching at the door. My dog who slept on our bed was going nuts, he did not want the dog on the bed, plus the dog kept jumping off anyway, which made me nervous. My husband gets up at 5:45 AM and works 11 hours he was getting so pissed that I finally got our crate out and put it in the garage and that's where the dog spent the night, it was around June so the temp was fine. I am sure the dog was not happy, but I knew he was safe and of course we did not have to hear him. I told my friend that while play dates were fun watching her dog would not work out. You guys seem to have more patience than us, but if possible a test run would not be a bad idea. I no longer ask friends to watch Lola, I am so lucky to have a found a lady that watches small dogs, mostly yorkies in her home and they have the run of it as well as her secure backyard, LOL this way no one asks me in return! Lola just spent 7 days there in early March, she had a blast with the 7 other yorkies and came home a little butterball so I know she ate well.

| Well. Wish me luck. Lol. I know that Anyah is a pretty quiet little thing and have seen her mommy speak to her and she is very firm with her. I think if she acts up a firm speaking to her will do it. I am also hoping that her and Wallee wrestling all day should tire them both out. Also. As a last resort the ladies son lives nearby. She has stayed with he and his wife and their 2 shelties before. Its just that they work all day and since I am currently home, Anyah will get more attention. |
