| Too aggressive to other dogs. Help! So, finally got a nice day and took Taz for a walk. Everything was fine until we ran into a neighbor who was walking a very large, bit fortunately very well trained, dog. Taz turned into Kujo, barking, jumping at the dog, growling, etc. I had to pick him up. What is the best way to deal with that kind of behavior? I would hate to be afraid of running into our neighbors walking dogs every time we go out the door. DeeDee who was also along with us wasn't phased.

| Wish I had an answer for you but My female is the same way. She get's totally out of control with my neighbors lab. She is 7 lbs and the lab is 105 lbs. I think she does it out of fear. She goes totally nuts! |

| You could try walking back the way you came for a bit, then have your boy sit. Maybe with the distance you can get better control of the situation. Once he's calm, try walking past the other dog again. Keep repeating until you're able to walk past with him being calm. That's is what I did with Kaji and he can walk by his fear triggers much better. It just takes time.

| Thank you for that suggestion. Now we will have to learn to sit...lol! Seriously, I think we will start working on it tomorrow.
