| ![]() I added a second girl as a playmate for Sophie and it all went well for about a year. THEN all heck broke loose. Bella decided Sophie had to go and would attack her for no apparent reason. Bella is a dominant dog and Sophie is very docile. Not a good match as we found out. Bella had to go upstairs and live with my daughters Bichons. She even tries to boss them around but they just ignore her actions. So it is really a crapshoot even with 2 spayed females there can be trouble.

| ![]() It depends on the dog, most dogs do great with siblings and enjoy having a playmate. I have four and they get along great, however my friend has a timid shy loving girl who does better as an only child. |
