| Lost Yorkie In Lake Forest Park, Washington State I'm hoping this is ok to post this here. A sculpting friend of mines little Yorkie went missing from her fenced yard this morning. The family is just devastated as you might imagine. I'm posting this for her her e in the hopes of just getting the word out. She has posters out and is walking the area... If anyone from the Lake Forest Park area of Washington State is on here...please keep an eye out. |

| Will do. Am so sorry your friend lost her best friend and will be hoping and praying he's found close to home soon and returned. We had a member of this forum lose her Yorkie at DisneyWorld and he was lost and apparently on his own for 3 weeks hiding around there until he was found by a member of the staff and eventually returned to his mom. They had returned and looked for him and missed him, had to go back home again, until he approached near enough to that staff member himself that he could be caught. So tell your friend not to ever give up looking and repeatedly leaving a scent trail here and there to help her baby sniff his way home in case he's still in the area, which he likely is unless someone saw him and picked him up and traveled on. My Tibbe has gotten out of his fenced back yard twice(through the tiniest opening that's since been fixed) since I've had him but he thankfully only went as far as the front porch once and side yard the second time.

| thanks so much for your words and I will tell her all of that, there is hope then I know..it's just so cold out right now. We are all praying so hard he will be found safe and sound or returned quickly. I'm so sick about it for her and her family. It's just heart breaking. They are all just a mess right now. |

| He'll probably burrow up close to a house behind some bushes and things to break the wind or under a porch, things like that. Likely if the weather is really cold and if he's been spotted, someone has picked him up or called Animal Control so they could hopefully track him down and get him off the streets. Yorkies are rarely ignored when out on their own. They are so tiny and cute, people just have to try to help them. It's very possible he's in with someone riding out the weather in the warmth of someone's home or in one of the pound locations within a 3 - 7 mile radius. These tiny guys can't usually travel far w/out help. Hoping he has a microchip and ID tag on his harness or collar. Keep us posted.

| Isn't there a company that uses blood hounds to track lost dogs? I think someone on this site has mentioned it before. |
