| I'm glad she is feeling better! I finally found a groomer that I like after years of trial & error, and although I do most of his grooming myself, I take him in every 3 weeks or so to have toenails dremeled & feet clipped. Once he got chewing gum stuck all in his mustache & I took him in to get that removed, which my regular guy did without Huey so much as whimpering once. I love the groomer that does him, but he changed his day off & I wasn't aware, so I went in one day that he wasn't there (I don't call ahead since it is a 5 min job usually) and the woman that was there made Huey yelp once. Her voice was calm & reassuring to him after the yelp, so I didn't think much of it, but I caught her day another time & he yelped again. Now, I know my regular groomers day off & will not go on any day that he is not there. Period. Another thing was that my regular groomer leaves the top of the split door open & chats while he is grooming, but the woman kept the door closed & that bothered me with the yelp, that I couldn't see what was happening.

Contacting the owner of the facility can only inform the owner that they have lost another customer due to their inability to handle their clients properly. You can only hope it will help save some other innocent victim from suffering the same treatment.

| I had found the BEST groomer, she was amazing with my boys. They LOVED her and wagged furiously when I brought them in. Then she moved and I found her again, then she moved to Texas, she kept getting fired. Apparently she was better with animals than people. I moved further north and had to find a new place. I took them to a few places and settled on one that we bring them to. The groomers were great, until they got this new girl. She seems to LOVE my boys and gets so excited when I go in to make the appointment, saying she can't wait to see them and groom them. She tells me stories about them, seems to know their personalities. She truly seems to care about them.... except.... every time I get them back one of them is nicked and nicked pretty good. She always tells us, and always seems upset that she did it. But how do you KEEP doing it? I am torn... do I find a new place. She nicked a bump Fletch has on his back this last time, which I could understand... but she got my poor baby Dex in the hind leg near his belly the previous time, where there is hardly any hair, and it was a hole almost. I wanted to cry for him. Judging by her reactions I know its not on purpose and she truly is upset at herself, but I don't know if I should keep going there. Before this girl, none of the other groomers ever nicked one of my boys.

| I received a long message from the groomers. They said from looking at the pic, she definitely had razor burn. The said it was noted that she had some brushable matting. I didnt comb her before I dropped her off. She has very easy-to-manage fur. She doesnt ever get matting unless she's been rolling in dead grass after a rain, which she hasnt. I did explain to them that I did love the male groomer in there and had no issues with him in the past. They said they were looking into blade cooling solutions and offered reassurrance this wouldnt be swept under the rug. Im really bad with names so I wrote down the male groomer's name and schedule and if I go back--I will make sure its him who helps us. |

| I think its a family owned type shop or there is a co-owner. My husband pointed out her pictures on their fb page. I also saw the male groomer in the pics too. I think they are related or bffs or something. The pics seemed to be at a party at a house. |

I agree..you shouldnt keep going if the groomer is a repeating offender. There are groomers out there who will be kind to your dog and not cut them.

| we took Jasmin to get grooming on Wednesday. She came home and puke a couple of hours later. The puke was full of hair. It was so gross. She has never done this before after a groom. Wish they would be more careful with our babies.

| I always say... Why pay someone to screw up my dogs hair (and my own!) when I can screw it up myself for free. I groom mine myself and cut my own hair. It's not as hard as it seems. |

OH MAN I WOULD BE SO MAD! A groomer hurt Chanel - I knew it right away and it was in her ear area - no blood but same reaction you were seeing - the whimpering killed me coming home - BUT - I went right back there alone and spoke up in front of all the people there - I am not confrontational but you'd be surprised what we can do when it comes to our family and pets! So so sorry - that just sucks - it may scar them about going to a groomer again - my Chanel got over it when I went into lots of groomer places and chose a new gentle one - she's been fine ever since - how is everything now?

| This is why I try to groom my 4 Yorkies and cut my own hair!
