I moved further north and had to find a new place. I took them to a few places and settled on one that we bring them to. The groomers were great, until they got this new girl. She seems to LOVE my boys and gets so excited when I go in to make the appointment, saying she can't wait to see them and groom them. She tells me stories about them, seems to know their personalities. She truly seems to care about them.... except.... every time I get them back one of them is nicked and nicked pretty good. She always tells us, and always seems upset that she did it. But how do you KEEP doing it? I am torn... do I find a new place. She nicked a bump Fletch has on his back this last time, which I could understand... but she got my poor baby Dex in the hind leg near his belly the previous time, where there is hardly any hair, and it was a hole almost. I wanted to cry for him.

Judging by her reactions I know its not on purpose and she truly is upset at herself, but I don't know if I should keep going there. Before this girl, none of the other groomers ever nicked one of my boys.
I think you already know the answer to this. There is really no excuse for the type of injuries you describe. I'm sure she is upset about hurting your baby. This job means her paycheck. Good groomers are hard to find. I would not continue to subject my pets to painful injury just to be nice to the person who was hurting them. Maybe consider looking for another groomer. Since these small dogs have become so popular they are everywhere.
