I am a local tour guide - so this is how I know all this silly history, LOL. And speaking of Gone with the Wind, Rhett Butler was given his name after Colonel William Rhett, known as the ‘Scourge of the Pirates’ because he was so effective in dealing with them. Rhett was charged with bringing the murderous Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet to justice. He captured Stede, and 29 of his crew and delivered them to the gallows in 1718 at the end of the Charleston peninsula now known as Battery Park or "White Point Gardens" (where all the gorgeous houses you see on postcards are now, LOL!) Rhett Butler's character was given after another Charleston man, George Walton Williams - a blockade runner! Ok, I'll stop now.

				 | Must Jump In When my 21 yr old grand daughter was born, Morgan was only a boy's name in most cases. My daughter and son in law loved it so much they named her Morgan.....it is a perfect name for her and there are lots of girl Morgans now. I wouldn't dress him in pink though.
