| Obviously you encountered a self appointed expert on everything. There seem to be more and more of them out there. They can't seem to contain their vast knowledge no matter what the occasion or location. There are ways of shutting these experts down without having to get into a discussion with them. I'm sure you have thought of a few comebacks by now. File them in your brain for the next know it all you meet up with. You just have to wonder how these people manage to navigate through life. |

YT 1000 Club Member | True, but there's a lot of that discomfort that can be avoided with a someone who can actually give an Inoculation properly. Just because we think they're pros, doesn't mean that they're efficient.

| I have two responses for people who say rude things to me or give me advice I didn't ask for... I smile and say "Thanks for your concern" or "Oh, I'm sorry you feel like way" Both usually shut the person right up because they are usually the type of person who is looking for a "debate" and that doesn't give them one (I win! LOL) or they shut up because they're too busy trying to figure out why I'm not bent out of shape by what they just said (I win again! ) |

How dare that guy said that to you, And kudos to you for holding your tongue. That takes a mighty strong person. I may have just said what was on my mind and left. Shame on him! Your vet visit should be a pleasant one. Did you tell your vet how this guy acted? Or was it the vet?

| I'm sorry the man said these things to you. People wouldn't insult your child, so I don't know why they feel free to insult pets. Quote:
The funniest rudeness I have experienced at the vet's office was from a woman with a gorgeous cocker spaniel in full show coat. When she took the dog out of the car, she quickly brushed down the dog's coat so that it was perfect. In the waiting room, she sneered at me and said something about me holding Teddy, whose coat was a little fluffy and messy from being in my arms.

| Some people are just not into small dogs... They are only used to the big dog world...

| You are way more polite than me, my Scottish temper would have expressed to him exactly what I thought of his remarks |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Do not listen to that man. They are called pet carriers not dog carriers. I do not put Galen on the ground when I go to the vet. I want to make sure he is not going to catch something. I even sometimes put him in a soft Sherpa crate for him. You did the right thing

| Don't let that jerk get to you. I see many people who carry their small dogs in carriers. I used to also until they got too big. |
