| grrrr bad Toronto Star Tiny Yorkie puppy could be world's smallest | Toronto Star Shame on the Toronto Star for giving this BYB airtime. I see the little pup licking the woman's face and I all I can think is that it's likely looking for a nipple, her dirty pink lipstick, sorry I'm venting |

| Looks like she's a little runt and perhaps the other dogs in the litter are regular size. Poor little Angle, she's so small she will never have the carefree fun life of a normal dog's life but perhaps she can have a decent one if the lady is very careful and watchful of her and won't travel her around hither and yon from TV show to public appearance after appearance for the amusement of the public and attention to the owner. This poor little thing deserves a carefully protected life enjoying it as she can on her own terms! We women are so often just drawn like flies to honey to the tiny, helpless little toy dog. It's basic pedomorphism and we plainly hard-wired to react to it. Hoping this tiny baby doesn't draw more and more women to go after the tiniest toy they can find and keep perpetuating the horrors of the ultra-micromini teacup but sadly, it will. | This woman talks about pouring her heart and soul into this puppy, she's in it for the fame it might earn her. She has no soul, and only a greedy heart, I hope this puppy, if it survives, has a hassle free life, and is taken care of, but I wouldn't put it past someone like her to breed this poor dog some day. I agree with the outrage of attention the Toronto Star is heaping on this woman, they need to focus on the hazards and problems that these tiny dogs suffer from, and their short life spans, then, maybe then people will quit wanting the designer trinkets, that these dogs become. I won't finish with the rest I want to say about her, just use your imagination, as to what an old sailor cussing would say about her, it might come close. Cheers Quad

I agree with you. This lady really only wants her five minutes of fame. She could care less about that little baby. Just my thoughts. | |

| I'm more concerned about HOW she created this poor tiny little pup...did it just happen or did she do something, like make it be born prematurely or something...7 pups is a lot in a Yorkie litter. It happens, but some unscrupulous breeders will purposely do things to get large litters to make the pups smaller...you know, the less room in the womb = smaller puppies. Since a female can get pregnant on day 1-10, you get the idea. I mean if the pup just happened to be a small one naturally, should it be that fragile looking & can't even hold up her own head @ 4 weeks old? I just hope she'll live a normal healthy life...that's all. Wonder how the Toronto Star found out.
