| Ok you guys are right. I will start the research to see who I can contact... Its just nerve racking. This is the same police department that falsely arrested me when I was 16 and sexually assaulted me when they had me in custody. I hired a lawyer who had all of the charges dropped against me and he tried to get me to file a suit with the department for the sexual assault but I was scared and a teenager and was afraid of what would happen to me if I attempted to get the officers in trouble. I guess I have the same feeling now even though I am 10 years older.

| WTF?! Those cops should have been fired! But instead they got away with everything! I'm surprised you didn't have lawyers pounding on your door to represent you! I am literally sick to hear this!

| My lawyer is our families lawyer. He couldn't do much but suggest. Since he had client privilege my parents were not allowed to be a part of the decision to bring the department to court either. All my lawyer could do was tell me my options at that point I had been through so much I couldn't imagine going through anything else. Hence my apprehension in getting the police involved any father.

| 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | My goodness what complete lack of professionalism by the police department and if you ask me it was a pretty ignorant thing for them to do. Totally ridiculous ! I would definitely do whatever could be done to protect yourself and to bring the officers up on charges if at all possible. There needs to be some sort of incident report or something done which brings this incident to the sergeants attention.

| Don't know what your gun laws are in your state, but I would be checking in on purchase and conceal carry permit. What idiots. Take a self protection class and a hand gun course. |
