| I also saw red flags when I read that email! I am so sorry for you though, because I'm sure you had your hopes up! So glad you checked it out rather than going through the heartache that so many have!

| HUGE Red Flag.... As soon as I read this post I knew something was wrong. Last year my sister and her family moved to London. I took Bruno, her yorkie for 7 months while we went through the customs process. The blood testing ( by a special lab), vet vists and passports cost around 200 bucks..... and then shipping was $600 !!!!!!! Not to mention how much time and effort it was to make sure everything was exactly how they wanted. Animal travel between the US and the UK is THE strictest there is. ( sidenote: it was so worth it because having Bruno leave made me so sad I got Otis ) Good luck with all this.... I think the crappiest part about scams is that they get your hopes up.... I hope you find another little one.... |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | A sure sign it's a scam....the poor English. It always kills me that someone who claims to be from an English (as a first language) country speaks (writes) such poorly written English. Note to self....if it sounds too good to be true....it usually ISN'T...true that is.

| Let's look at all the red flags: 1. Lives in London 2. Dr didn't know daughters allergies 3. Puppy is cheaper than flight (never happens) 4. Puppy is 8 wks (she's been to TX and then back to London) How old was the pups when she bought it? 5. Pic of puppy looks WAAY smaller than the weight she gave in the email. It also contradicts the weight in the ad. 6. At this price, the pup would have been sold to someone in London a long time ago! Although that puppy is adorable! Way too many questionables. You may as well buy $400 worth of scratch and win tickets, that's how much of a gamble this purchase would be! Irene |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | In response to the second email you received, I've found responding to any of them, results in MORE. My brother wrote bogus/goofy replies to the "my father, husband, brother, uncle, who-ever passed away and left me a k-jillion dollars, I only need your bank account number to get it"....he received dozens of these AFTER responding to just that one.

| Be very careful. I was scammed with a similiar story. The lady said her daughters were allergic to the puppies. It turned out to be a scam. It was really a man from Nigeria and he had no puppies. After I sent him money, he kept saying he needed more money for customs and etc. I was heartbroken, and never got money or a puppy out of that deal. I emailed him and told him I would pass on his story so he wouldn't scam anyone else. His story keeps changing. Just be careful. It may not be a scam. Just sharing my nightmare!! |

| to be honest with you, it sounds like a scam. Many people from africa and europe run this scam. They steal pictures of yorkies, from other breeders, pretend they have the dog (which they don't!!!), and charge a very low price for the puppy. Please be carefull,i don't want someone to take advantage of you. Another scam that people from over sea's run are: they purchase P.O. boxes in the United States, so it looks like they live here, to make themselves look more ligit. But they are really still over sea's just waiting to collect your money.

| I'm sorry you almost got scammed. She is awfully cute though. My red flag in reading th email was not only the errors and all of the other stuff other people mentioned but yorkies do not aggrevate allergies, that's why a lot of people with allergies can have yorkies. Isn't that right?? So if it is, the whole reason for her giving "Diego" away is a complete scam.

| "People must think that they can hit me up now. LOL LOL LOL Take a look at a new email i got today from another one! But this one is not a doctor this one is a Pastor! Gotta read this!" Hey, have you gotten a phone number for this ad? My hubby is a retired minister and although we do not know everyone, there are ways to find out if this is the truth.. And, BTW, most leg. ads from foreign countries either sad ++++USD or as in Europe, Euros and you have to convert the amount to dollars based on the rate of exchange for that day.. I agree that this has scam written all over it..Do you suppose she would give you the name of the breeder in the states from whom she bought this dog?? |

| Actually, I did get scammed the first time. Then I found a wonderful breeder in OK. THat is where I got my darling Lexi. I shouldn't have fallen for the scam. I wanted a Yorkie because I have allergies to pet dander. My brother had a Yorkie and told me that I wouldn't be allergic to them. I went to visit him and sure enough, D'artagnan didn't bother my allergies. They are wonderful, perfect, allergy free dogs, but I still fell for the scam because I wanted one so bad I didn't research the background. I just took "her" word for it and lost $500. |

| It's so sad that people use this type of scam to make money, and I bet they get their share of trusting people. No, don't buy off the internet if you don't know the breeder and especially if THEY contacted you! There's something wrong there. Ususally it's very hard to find a pup that's available yet alone for $185, and no way can shipping only be $200, especially overseas. Glad that you brought this out in the open for all to see. Take that $385 and put a down payment on a healthy puppy here in the states...
