| I would take him. If he does not work out, after he is neutered, you could screen for the perfect family or surrender him to a rescue. Both are better than him going to a greeder.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Jasper is almost 6 months old the only male. We have 2 other females dogs. They are not yorkies, but still spayed females. Jasper does not hump nor does he raise his leg to pee or mark. He will be neutered at the end of the month. Please, please take this baby. There is a reason that this opportunity was laid upon you. If it doesn't work, then place him with a rebutable yorkie rescue. I'm praying for you and this little boy as you make your decision.

| Hello Everyone, I want to thank you for responding to my message. Each has voiced the same opinion I have had. Bring him home and see how it works out. If it doesn't work out at least I will know he will go to a good home. Funny my husband has said the same thing to. So that is what I am gonna do. I text my niece and asked her to notify the girl to hold him, she said no problem the lady will. Thanks so much I will let you know how it goes next week. |

| I would not trade my boy Keno for all the world, best little dog I have ever had. Easy to house train and no problems with humping anything ever. He does have a little yorkie girl friend who tries to hump him, it really is funny, she is 6 lbs and he is 16 lbs. |

| 2 females will often accept a male fairly easily. My kids are so used to others coming and going, they accept anything! He should be neutered before being placed in his new home....to be sure isn't being taken for breeding purposes. As a breeder, and a rescuer and fostermom, I have spayed and unspayed females and neutered and unneutered males. My boys are pretty good about using the pee pads....but they are trained very early in my home. My girls are all 98%+. Hey, you have dogs, you have pee. If you aren't sure, maybe you could foster him until a permanent home is found. If you need it, I'm happy to help. Last edited by Yorkielady1961; 07-08-2013 at 12:19 PM. |

| Good for you! ![]() One thing though, I'm not sure if this has been said yet, but please wait until he is settled into the new home before neutering. Neutering him right away and then bringing him into a new environment could traumatize the poor thing, neutering is stressful as it is. I have no doubt you know what your doing and that everything will go great, I just wanted to give that little piece of advice in the hopes that it will help

| We didn't get Laddy neutered until after we got Kyra. He was 3 years old and never humped or marked in the house. Since being fixed he now seldom even raises his leg outside. I am so glad you are going to take this little guy and do what is best for him. Careful though boys are lovebugs and you will probably end up keeping him .

| I am not worried if there is a accident or two in the house. I do have two little dogs and my Hanna is a senior and has them now and again. I will re-shampoo the carpet before I go get him. I am feeling much better about this decision after hearing from you guys. Thanks for your support. I will let you know how things are going and probably asking a dozen questions. Glad to hear about all the "good" boys out there. LOL |

| Just get him neutered. I have 2 boys and they have never humped anything, but one marks, even after being neutered. Not sure if these habits just depend on the boy. If he's a marker you can always put a belly band on when he's in the house. Boys are super super sweet, I just adore my boys! I can't imagine having a girl! LOL
