| Harnesses For those of you who use harnesses... do you keep them on your baby all the time? We rarely have a need for a leash, and so Penny has a collar right now. I'd like to get a harness for when we take her out because she pulls terribly, but I'm afraid if we leave it on her, she will mat. (Her fur mats horribly when she wears her sweater). |

| I just put the harness on when going out. The rest of the time, I have a collar with her tags on her. When the kids see the harnesses come out - they know we are going somewhere - and get so excited!

| I use harness's on all my gang but No when they are in my house they are naked except for bows.. . Mine are trained to never go by the front door and I slip out through the garage if someone comes to the front door and my gang never goes outside without me so very little chance that someone would come up missing and I also do a headcount every single time we go outside.

| I've never put a collar on either of mine. They scare me to death. The only time they wear a harness is when we go out.

| Bubba wears a harness when we go out because I didn't want pressure on his trachea when he pulls but he also wears a collar with tags on it even when home (even though microchipped) just in case he accidentally slips out. I may be over protective but just can't take any chance |

| I also only use the harness if we are going out for a walk. I do keep her collar with tags on in case she does get out (even though I watch her like a hawk) because I hope whoever found her would return her immediately. Even though she has a microchip, the person would have to take her to the vet to find out who owns her- if they did at all!

| Macy only wears her harness when we got somewhere. She does have a "cat" quick release colar on at all times with her name/phone tag on with a bell so I know where she is. She is always somewhere were she shouldn't be, so we got the quick release kind because of all the horror stories..... I don't know if it is just her but she is into everything and anything. The only thing she left alone at Christmas was the tree!

| micro-chipped, no collar, harness with name tag hangs by the door for daily walks but I put it on and take it off when we come inside. if she is in someone else's care I leave the harness on her. |

| Mine is also microshipped. She doesn't even wear a collar in the house I don't see the need for it and they also may cause tracheal problem. |
