The screaming and banging has stopped. The only thing that has continued is the alarm on our windows going off. The alarm company is backed up and can't get an appt. for a few days. This has made me jumpy, needless to say.....when we are laying in bed and the security alarm goes off for the windows it is a tad unsettling.

Other then that, all is quiet, thank you Lord. Blessings to you and yours and thank you for your concern it is appreciated.

Yes, it's been a bit unsettling. But, other than that the quiet has been nice.

We are so thankful our babies are alright. When he was screaming it was playing havoc with them. It really frightened them. I really think this man has mental problems and needs intervention.

I am praying for a definite resolution of this problem, for the mental health benefits of this obviously unbalanced person, and for YOUR personal safety.

I don't know when I've read something this chilling. It sounds as if you are as on top of this awful situation as you can be without moving your home and then who knows what neighbors will be like in another neighborhood. I only hope that authorities can get his man on some meds or IH treatment for a while that will help him but he truly sounds like a volcano that could erupt at any time. I'm just so sorry you are having to live with this 24/7 and know you must be so worried for your little ones and yourselves.

Like Yorkiemom1/Judy suggested, I would be journaling everything, including any phone calls to police, every time the alarm goes off and keeping all of the receipts for efforts you have had to make in order to try to keep your family safe. A contemporaneous journal clearly identified as yours with dates, times, names and details of events is a powerful tool when dealing with law enforcement and the courts and serves to keep track of dates, times and happenings if this runs on for quite some time. And who knows if one day you may have to appear in court to testify about all of this. I'll sure be praying for the safety of your family and that man and that he can get much-needed help.

Thank you, I greatly appreciate you. We are meeting with the higher ups today. I really don't like doing this at all. I am afraid of what he will do next if this isn't addressed, but also if is. Very nerve wracking situation.

I understand what you are saying. However being in the mist of it with possible revenge at your doorstep does promote caution. But, we are proceeding.

On the neighbor?

Oh, no! Not on your neighbor - to use fighting a possible fire on your property or house. Our police department told me that in today's world, anytime anyone makes a complaint about a neighbor for whatever reason, the neighbor could take it out on their home from breaking a window to setting their house on fire. They were just trying to alert me to be ready for possible ugly repercussions if I reported her barking dog and it shocked me that people would go to those ends. I checked my fire extinguishers and got ready for the worst but thankfully upon talking to my neighbor, she did blow up with anger at first but then subsequently taught the dog not to bark and all is good now. I sure hope your neighbor can get some help and you no longer have to fear what he might do to your dogs, your family or your premises.
