I have had all size's. Right now I have 3 different size girls. XXS, S and M.

My biggest girl ( she was my heart dog) was 12 pounds, lived to be almost 15 yrs old.

That's awesome! I wish I had a sibling for Miley but I can't handle two yorkies right now...especially if they're as active and energetic as Miley haha. I am sorry for your loss of your girl and I hope your current 3 girls have been able to help ease the pain.

Ok, just playing devil's advocate here, but she's only 15 weeks, how do you know she's healthy? I didn't find out Uni had LP grade 2 and pancreatitis until she was almost 3 years old. And at 2.4 at 15 weeks, I don't think people would automatically think "teacup". 2.4 at adult weight is more like what people are wanting in a teacup, sadly.

all fair questions...she is healthy as of RIGHT NOW. Even the best bred dog in the world could get sick and grow up to not be healthy. Things just happen! And as I have stated numerous times I was under the impression that standard was 5-7 lbs and anything under was considered tiny but I have been told that standard is anything UNDER 7lbs. So a 1lb dog is considered standard? That's what I don't understand because if that's the case then the teapots should be considered standard as well.

Tatiana sleeps on my pillow, snuggled under my chin! My DH doesn't understand how I can sleep like that.....I call her my lil snuggle bug!

I don't bring Miley in bed with me anymore because she likes to pee in my bed she gets really sad but for some reason she doesn't wake up and bark to get down like she did when I first got her so now she sleeps in her bed next to my bed or if I don't have to go to work the next day I just sleep on the floor with her.

All yorkies are small at 15 weeks old, they are still growing lots and change week by week, you don't see the changes when you see them all the time. teapot-teacup are just endearment words that's it... the breed is Yorkshire Terrier, but.... who set the standards? I honestly think if a pup is born been allowed to feed from the mother when it wants, the mother is healthy, good age, then... what will be, will be regards to size.. Molly had 5 pups they are all different sizes and were greedy little pups, I kept the biggest, not for the size but the features, that meant more to me than size

OK, it was about the t word ones being special needs children. That makes some (me) feel like their t-word pups are less than awesome. I feel like I need to defend mine. Maybe it's how I read it, but I sure know mine isn't special needs. She's a great dog, just in a smaller package!
