Yes true but some are bigger than others and some are smaller than others at 15 weeks. From what i've seen that's how adult weight is predicted

The problem is the greedy breeders on the internet making teacup a bad term. God decides in the end how big a pup will be. Mine wasn't supposed to be like she is, but she is and I'm praying for a growth spurt. If it doesn't happen, then that's how it will be.

Sounds like she won't be a teacup, so you don't have to worry about the terminology

I NEVER said that. And as I've come to find out Miley isn't even considered what would be considered "teacup" weight. Miley will be smaller than her brothers at 4.5 lbs or maybe even more and the breeder was worried about her being that little! Not once did I say I wanted a breeder who bred tinies unless you're referring to my desire for a small pup BEFORE coming here.

You said most people do not want larger yorkies. Also the standard is not to exceed 7 pounds so there is no teacup weight.

I didnt see that post but tinies are kind of special need yorkies and they do require some special care that maybe a 7 lb yorkie wouldnt. you definitely have to be more careful with them to prevent injurie. Can tinies go up stairs or jump up on the couch or bed. you have to be careful to watch them for hypoglycemia. you also should have them tested for liver shunt and lp

On the AKC website that was linked it said 4-7lbs. So wouldn't "teacup" be under 4lbs?

I don't see a small yorkie and think they are sick. But the majority of tiny yorkies I have seen look sick and some not like yorkies at all and that's because the majority of people are getting there puppies from bad breeders or puppy mills.
